Maintenance and servicing

Maintenance and servicing

Sports equipment does not wear out on the day it breaks. It wears out every day, quietly.

Services

Inspect, repair, extend

Gym maintenance is the budget line that gets forgotten at the start and regretted two years in. A slack net, a hairline crack in a glass panel, a dry bearing, a fixing working loose: nothing dramatic, until the day the equipment becomes unsafe or unusable.

We set a maintenance contract against how the place is actually used - a club open fifteen hours a day is not visited at the same rhythm as a community hall. Each visit covers the wear points, the adjustments, the replacement of the parts concerned and a written report, which is as useful to your insurer as to your safety inspection.

We also work one-off, on equipment we did not install, and on refurbishment: a club taken over, a tired court, second-hand equipment bought in - most can be brought back up to standard for a fraction of the cost of new.

Nothing here is a subscription for its own sake: the right frequency is the one that catches wear before it becomes a repair, and no more often than that.

What that covers, discipline by discipline

Padel

Padel

Padel court maintenance: net tension and replacement, checks on glazing and fixings, brushing and topping up the turf, resetting the lighting. Turf upkeep is what sets the speed of play, and the players notice before you do.

A slack net and badly adjusted glazing show in play before they show to the eye: those are the two points we check first.

Fitness & Cross-training

Fitness & Cross-training

Sports equipment maintenance: cables, bearings, upholstery, anchors and technical flooring. Inspections follow the manufacturers' schedules, logged machine by machine.

We price at study stage what the fleet will consume in wear parts over five years - the budget line projects systematically forget.

Pilates

Pilates

Straps, springs, carriages and reformer rails: a studio is checked often, quickly, and preferably before the first class.

A studio is checked often, quickly and close up: we train the team in the daily actions so that not everything waits for a call-out.

Combat sports

Combat sports

Rope tension, mesh condition and cage fixings, mats and wall padding - the places where a failure is paid for immediately.

A cage and a ring carry bodies in motion: they are checked with a written record, not by eye during a cleaning round.

Multi-sport spaces

Goals, retractable supports and wall padding checked, with the certificate facility managers are required to hold.

The inspection report is not a formality: on public equipment it is what gets produced the day you are asked to account for it.

Play areas

Play areas

Periodic inspection of equipment, foundations and impact-absorbing surfaces, with the report a local authority must be able to produce.

A frequent visual check, a periodic operational inspection, an annual main inspection: the frequency is set against actual use.

Frequently asked questions

Do you maintain other manufacturers' equipment?

Yes, and it is most of the contracts we take over. We start with a survey of what is there, machine by machine, to separate what can be maintained from what has to be replaced.

We say plainly when a part can no longer be sourced: knowing early beats learning it at the breakdown.

How often?

The frequency is set against actual use, not a standard calendar. A floor open twelve hours a day is not inspected like a club hall.

On public facilities and playgrounds the frequency is regulated and the written record is part of the service.

What does a maintenance contract cost?

It is priced on the fleet and on intensity of use, and we always split it in two lines: the visits, and the wear parts foreseeable over five years.

That split allows a real trade-off, and it makes two proposals from two contractors comparable.

Let us review what you run

Tell us what you operate, for how long and at what rate: we will propose a realistic visit frequency and a maintenance contract built on it - or simply a survey, if that is what you need today.
